Fashion Design Workshop: Let’s Get Creative Together!

Ages 7-12, Grades 1-6 / Ages 5-6, Grade K can also join

Introduction

Petite Mode Studio’s mission is to nurture children’s creative spirits. We help them dream big and explore the grown-up world of fashion design in a fun, playful environment.

Designed by our Chief Fashion Designer and Teacher, Juliette Huang — our unique program helps children learn the fundamentals of fashion design so that they can create their very own masterpieces.

Sky Kids Camp Partner

Petite Mode Studio is a local camp and after-school program provider in Taiwan. Each weekly session has around 5-10 students @Zhongyi street location and 15-20 students @Tatung University location. Teacher to student ratio is 1:5.

Theme: forest laboratory 森林實驗室 (Oct 14-18)

你知道草木如何染出秋天的色彩嗎？

「森林實驗室」將帶領孩子們認識植物染，透過提取、製作染液、上色等一系列工序，將布料進行染色。孩子們將以綁染或漸層染等工藝，渲染出自己的T-shirt & 飾品布料，用雙手揮灑自然界的色彩魔法。

Do you know how plants create the colors of autumn?

In our "Forest Laboratory" camp students will learn about plant dyeing. Through a series of processes such as extracting, making dye solutions, and applying colors, they will dye their own fabrics. The kids will use techniques like tie-dye or gradient dyeing to create their own T-shirts and fabric accessories, using their own unique perspective to cast the magic of nature's colors.

Theme: flowers museum 小花美術館 (Dec 16-20)

藝術家用什麼方式補捉花的姿態？設計師們用什麽角度詮釋花的樣貌？

「小花美術館」將帶領孩子們拆解小花小草，透過解構、重組，看看孩子們將會建構出什麼風格的小花美術館。

How do artists capture the posture of flowers? What perspectives do designers use to interpret the appearance of flowers?

Our "Flowers Museum" Camp will guide students to learn about deconstructing and reassembling flowers and plants so that they can create their own flower museum version.

THEME: 怪獸 pOMPOM Boom (Dec 23-27, Feb 3-7)

冷冷的冬天，創意小怪獸們如何用各形各色的毛線取暖？

「Pompom Boom!」將帶領孩子們認識針織與毛球的製作，透過設計發想、手感創作，由平面到立體，用毛線搭建出自己的Pompom小世界。

In the cold of winter, how do creative little monsters keep warm with yarn of various colors and types?

Our "Pompom Boom!" Camp will introduce children to knitting and pompom making. Through design thinking and hands-on creation, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, they will build their own Pompom world using yarn.

THEME: Strawberry Rock-n-Roll 草莓搖滾排隊(Jan 21-25)

草莓的甜蜜、搖滾的張力，會碰撞出怎樣的創意？

草莓搖滾派對將以歡樂的紅與粉，酷炫的黑與金，帶孩子用甜點與音樂混搭出無限的設計可能。

What kind of creativity will be sparked by the sweetness of strawberries and the energy of rock 'n roll?

Our Strawberry Rock 'n Roll Party will mix vibrant reds and pinks with cool blacks and golds, providing kids with endless design opportunities through desserts and music.

Class Cancellation / Change:

• We reserve the right to cancel a class session if the number of students enrolled does not meet the minimum or there are unforeseen circumstances that require cancellation.

• All bookings are non-refundable unless the class(es) is cancelled by Sky Kids and/or a force majeure situation arises that requires cancellation. If you request cancellation for any reason, we can apply the remaining credit (minus materials cost incurred and classes already taken) to another class/program (valid for one year).

• If you miss a class, you may request to make-up the class in a later time-slot as long as there is space available. No refunds are allowed in this case.

• Sky Kids and Petite Mode Studio reserves the right to change program content / teacher as needed.
